Student Testimonials

  • Thanks so much for everything. My month here has been amazing. I took 8 hours of classes for 2 weeks, and then 6 hours per 2 weeks. I went from not understanding almost anything that was said directly to me to now understanding and being able to participate in conversations with my family here in Peru. The outings in the afternoon were a great way to get to know all of Cusco, from tourist attractions, to daily life in the markets, to a day in the hospital talking with patients. I even celebrated my birthday here at the school ! It's been great. Thanks.

  • Before coming to Wiracocha I didn't even know two words in Spanish. But now after 7 weeks I can express my thoughts and ideas and understand most of what people say to me. So thank you for your good lessons!. I also feel I have learned a lot about Peru and its people from conversa- tions with the teachers at the school. And thanks for the fun extras like dance classes, cuy and karaoke!
    Thank you...

  • I studied for 2 months at Wiracocha, wich should indicate my high opinion of the school. The teachers were great, constantly indulging me and allowing me to learn the things I wanted to. They focus heavily on conversation, and it definitely pays dividents. The location is also fantastic, just minutes from the main square. I would be remiss if I didn't mention my host family, who added immencely to my experience here.I won't forget them or the friends I made here. I had such a good time that I am considering coming back here.

Thank you so much for every- thing Erick, Sonia, Gary, J-man you all rock! . And the Cuy (guinea pig) how can I forget the cuy! Hsssss! I loved the opportu- nities that you've given me the city tours, the dance classes, the Soccer game "go Cienciano" and just the awesonest family! I think I'd get myself adopted by them.

  • Thank you so much for teaching me so much Spanish in just a week. The classes were so much fun & the time always few by. Thank you to the teachers for being so patient, especially when I kept forgetting the same things, like “los artículos”. I came here knowing about 10 words that I taught myself & know grammar, but I have learned more than I thought I could in such a short time. I look forward to practicing in la selva (jungle) & hopefully I can come back in 10 weeks knowing even more!Thank you again.
