City tour Cusco
The places you will visit: The cathedral of Cusco, Qoricancha, Saqsayhuaman, Quenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay.
The tour starts at 1pm. We will begin visiting Qoricancha, a wonderful Ceremonial construction built during the Incas heydays. Afterwards we will visit the Cathedral of Cusco. Later on, we will drive to the northern outskirts of Cusco, towards Inca buildings such as Sacsayhuaman. Here we will walk through huge Inca walls, built with massive rocks weighing up to 130 tons, well fitted, with absolute perfection. Then, we will move on to another important Inca site known as Qenqo, a strange place with subterranean passages, hiding in its interior perfectly carved stones where the Incas probably mummified their deads. To finish off our City tour, we will drive further up to visit the Inca Baths of Tambomachay and the military lookout point of Pucapucara and finally we head back to Cusco.
