If you are a recently graduated or final year student who has an interest in environmental protection, Wiracocha Spanish Language School offers you the opportunity to practice your chosen profession by working on an environmental conservation project or in a national park, where you will have the opportunity to exercise and refine the knowledge acquired in your university and also learn the techniques used by Peruvian professionals.

Program of Internship in Development and Environmental Protection

Duration: 4 weeks.
Includes:

Practical sessions within conservational programs.

Bibliographical material.

Your personal program Co-ordinator.

Homestay with a Peruvian family.

Certificate from the institution or project where you take your internship.

2 hours of Spanish classes per day.

* This program does not require previous Spanish language knowledge.

Enrollment Process

You must complete the application form on this web site a minimum of 2 weeks before arriving in Cusco. You must complete the whole form including specifying the types of enterprises within which you wish to work.
In Cusco a person from our school will be waiting for you at the airport holding a sign with your name on it. They will accompany you to the family home where you will live during your stay in Cusco.
The next day at the school you will be intruduced to the school Director and your program coordinator who will explain the program and schedules and then you will begin practical sessions. The school will also provide you with lots of advice and information to ensure that your stay in Cusco is enjoyable and productive.
Your personal program coordinator will introduce you to the Peruvian professionals with whom you will work.
2 hours of Spanish classes in the afternoon.

Payment method

You must pay the cost of the whole program in cash on the first day of the program in cusco and prior to commencing your course activities. There are many banks and ATM'S close to the school making it easy to withdraw cash or change travellers cheques.

I spent 6 weeks at this school. I had different teachers wich made things more interesting. I took trips on the weekends to Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, and other places. If my trips carried over through Monday I misses classes, It was not a problem to make them up in the afternoon later in the week.
