Machupicchu, Cusco

The citadel of Machu Picchu is surrounded by temples, platforms and waterways, built on top of a mountain. Its construction was built with large blocks of stone joined together, without the use of amalgam. Today it is the best known tourist site in Peru and one of the wonders of the world.

The region of Cusco in the months of November to March is in times of rain with a changing climate, the sky of Cusco can change from a clear sky to a heavy rain in a matter of minutes, for which it must be cautious before any change of weather.

When you arrive in the city of Cusco it is important that at least you rest for a couple of hours so that your body adapts to the height. You can take advantage to visit the attractions of the city, such as museums, the Plaza de Armas, Koricancha, and many others, these are the recommendations we give at Wiracochaschool to its students.
